On the occasion of this festive season of Deepawali, PM Modi invites citizens to pen their thoughts, their feelings, their sense of gratitude, towards our soldiers. You can send your messages on the Narendra Modi App by giving a missed call to 1922 .
DD and AIR would broadcast the best posts on their platform. MyGov would also release selected best posts through its social media handles.
In his latest sculpture, renowned sand artist Sudarshan Pattnaik has extended Diwali greetings to the Army.
The sculpture on Odisha's Paradip message tells our soldiers, 'you are our heroes'. It also carries the hashtag #Sandesh2Soldiers, a social media campaign initiated by PM Modi.
It is imperative that we do our bit for our soldiers, some of them braving minus 12 deg in those highest battlefields of the world the dreaded Siachen on Diwali day !! I am sure they too would like to enjoy Diwali with their families, but they can't. But they ensure that we can sitting in our cosy homes. Let's make a difference in their lives !
